Sweet Kaiso! Kaiso was actually one of the first indigenous styles of song which was created by African slaves who were brought to the Caribbean. Out of a dark past, came a great light in the form of Kaiso music. It was said that slaves would use Kaiso music to move slave owners behind their back. Kaiso music is closely associated with story telling and at times, will have you rolling with laughter. The art form blossomed throughout the years to what we now know as Calypso. However, there is something about Kaiso music that just gets you off your feet! Have a listen!

Here, famous Kaiso artist "Cro Cro" explains his complaints of having to carry parcels for family and friends abroad and claims he's just not going to tell them if he decides to travel again. You can't help but enjoy sweet Kaiso! :D
